The Story
In 2006, the son of Maryse Casol, Mickaël, a musician, asked his mother if she could do instruments. She agreed! Melodia Gitana is part of the 2006 collection, that includes 5 other musical paintings.

Melodia Gitana was inspired from the summer vacations in the 1990s and early 2000s at the family home in France, at the border of Spain.

The meaning of the painting? The guitar is the love for music, the flowers are a symbol of femininity and life, and the apple, is the symbol of knowledge, and openness to the world with it's round shape.
