GALERIES LAFAYETTE: THE PARIS SHOPPING DESTINATION

Women’s fashion

Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann has created the world’s largest “chic and bold” fashion collection, covering some 15,000 square meters and featuring more than 350 brands, 45 of them exclusive and half of them foreign. Hailing from around 15 different countries and often unknown in France, these highly creative labels reflect Galeries Lafayette’s firm commitment to bringing international fashion and design alive. The chain’s innovative approach to women’s fashion means the merchandise is not segmented by age, but rather by moments in a woman’s life. A fully revamped Designers’ section features a choice of buyers’ favorites along with the season’s freshest front-page brands.

Luxury and designer goods
Galeries Lafayette opened a 2,000 square-meter space on the Boulevard Haussmann store’s first floor to offer customers an exceptional journey through luxury. Designed by architect Bruno Moinard, the innovative luxury department includes ready-to-wear collections and accessories from 23 fashion houses and nine avant-garde designers. Showcased names include Alaïa, Céline, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Dior, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Fendi, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace and Miu Miu. Putting service and comfort first, the department features a champagne bar for shoppers who want to enjoy the finer things in life while contemplating the store’s famed neo-Byzantine dome.

Shoes and Boots
A 3,200 square-meter shoes and boots section opened in the Boulevard Haussmann store’s lower ground level. Developed by celebrated designers Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku, this sumptuous space dedicated to women’s footwear — a critical fashion accessory — offers an innovative lineup of 150 brands, 75 of them exclusive, a pedicure beauty salon, a skilled cobbler and Macaroons & Chocolates boutique from Pierre Hermé. The selection runs the gamut, from affordable to luxury and from sneakers to accessories, with the displays divided into five main themes: fashion, contemporary, urban, luxury and upscale.

Accessories
All of the leading names in leather goods, watches and jewelry are showcased in a dedicated 6,500 square-meter space. Fashion-savvy shoppers looking for the latest trends have 320 brands to choose from, including 50 luxury brands.

Beauty
Galeries Lafayette offers a range of outstanding personal care products, perfumes and cosmetics in a 2,500 square-meter display under the Boulevard Haussmann store’s neo-Byzantine dome and in the beauty section of other stores. A full range of famous and less well-known brands meets the needs of today’s demanding men and women. This space is also a venue where new perfumes, cosmetics and personal care items are launched, providing shoppers with a preview of the beauty products of tomorrow.

Lingerie
Galeries Lafayette has the world’s largest department devoted entirely to women’s lingerie. Covering 2,600 square meters, it features more than 80 brands in all styles, from basic, affordable items to the most sophisticated, exclusive models. Special events are organized for the launch of new brands or products in this dedicated space, which is organized into six themed areas (trendy, luxury, red-hot boulevard, seduction, sporty and technology). These eye-catching happenings confirm that lingerie items have evolved from functional garments into full-fledged fashion accessories.
